A splendid plate, produced to commemorate the coronation of George IV in 1821. The king is shown, in relief mould, wearing military uniform, surrounded by a basket weave border and relief moulded cartouches.
Circa 1821
Approx - 8.5 inch (215mm) dia.
In very good condition throughout, with only minor paint losses.
